Black Pearl Pirate Tours began sailing the protected waters of New Jersey’s Little Egg Harbor in the summer of 2010. Owned and operated by the Camarda Family, the Black Pearl Pirate has become one of Long Beach Island’s most popular attractions. After a long sail down the Atlantic seaboard our Pirate Ship arrived in Marco Island, Florida.
It has always been the Camarda Family’s lifelong dream to be able to offer families a unique, good old fashioned family fun experience that is remembered and cherished for years to come. After bringing this experience to families in New Jersey, the Camardas migrated South to Marco Island, Florida to bring this same experience to the Gulf of Mexico! We offer Interactive Pirate Cruises for the kids and amazing Sunset Cruises in Marco Island for the adults!
The Black Pearl Pirate Ship was custom built in Crisfield, Maryland in 2009 and meets all United States Coast Guard requirements. The spacious vessel is 60 feet long with a 20-foot beam, which offers ample room to enjoy your pirate experience or relax on a sunset cruise. The Black Pearl is powered by twin Volvo 225 hp diesel engines and is equipped with bow and stern thrusters to assist in smooth sailing on your next trip. The Black Pearl is certified for 78 passengers and is equipped with top-of-the-line life saving equipment. There is a restroom on board for your convenience. A full service bar is also available for your entertainment-filled sunset cruises. The most popular and best feature of all is the set of 12 water cannons aboard the ship used to fend off unfriendly pirates during our daily interactive pirate excursions.
